This is Rochdale Borough Council’s Core Strategy Issues and Options consultation. It is a genuine opportunity for residents, businesses and other ‘stakeholders’ to get involved in shaping the borough’s future.
The documents you can view and respond to here are the:

- Core Strategy Background Paper
- Initial Sustainability Appraisal of the Six Spatial Options
- Site Nomination Form – please download this form to put forward any sites (over 0.25 ha) you would like to be considered for development and return it by e-mail or post
- Statement of Consultation
Throughout the Issues and Options report you will see 'Add Comment’ links. If you wish to comment either on the whole chapter or section, or respond to the specific issues, objectives, options or questions please use the link nearest to that part of the document. Click on the 'Add Comment' tab and enter your comments which you can then either save or submit by clicking on the relevant buttons, or cancel if you decide not to proceed with your representation.
Please ensure that your registration details are kept up to date. It would be helpful if you could complete the section 'About Me' but this is not compulsory.
